The end goal of the Lights On Haiti project is to provide the technical training to Haitian students on how to properly maintain and operate these electrical generation units. This will be done as a way to develop self-sufficiency and talent within this much needed business sector. For years, Haiti has struggled with providing reliable electricity for their citizens and we strive to fight this.

With your donation, funding will be supplied for the Haitian students to study electrical power generation systems and the core principles of maintaining the equipment involved. Without this education, the country is forced to hire this support from outside thus increasing the costs while at the same time decreasing the quality of the results. Essentially, why hire from outside when it can be supplied from inside?
